 SAFE's Board of Directors invites the public to attend monthly board meetings at SAFE' in the SISTR Room. The next meeting is on September 18, at 5:30 pm.

Dr. Jeremy Braithwaite presented his thesis November 15-17, 2016, at SAFE.  Jeremy's thesis was based on interviews with adult survivors of sexual violence in Bristol Bay.

Are you interested in becoming a Board Member?

Candidates are selected by the Nominating Committee and the list is public. A member of SAFE not nominated by the nominating committee may run for the Board by submitting a written candidates statement along with endorsement of two other members, and having membership in SAFE 30 days prior to the annual meeting. Our Annual Membership meeting and voting is October 11.  The deadline is September 11 2017. 

SAFE is in Dillingham, Alaska, USA, and is Bristol Bay's shelter, prevention, and advocacy agency for domestic violence and sexual assault victims. Dillingham (2400 people) is a hub for dozens of surrounding villages in Bristol Bay, and SAFE has a geographic service area  the size of Ohio.
